UNIFORM SPECIFICATIONS

As with the BSA in general, Sea Scouts are expected to purchase
and maintain a Class-A uniform which is worn for ceremonies and
other "official" events. This consists of a U.S. Navy enlisted white
"Cracker Jack" uniform with the official Sea Scout insignia, belt &
neckerchief, white "dixie-cup" style hat, and black oxford-type shoes
(plain-toed, with laces, leather, not high-gloss synthetic).

Class-A uniforms may be purchased at the Arlington Navy Annex
Uniform Center, (Wing 6 Room G 630, Columbia Pike Navy Annex).
This building is a controlled access building, so you must contact
Michele Cole (Navy Uniform Store Manager) at (703) 979-7813/7917
to meet you at the guard gate and escort you to and from the building.
Michele is very knowledgeable about both the male and female Sea Scout
uniforms and will give you her personal attention. Hours of Operation
are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturdays
from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Youth also need to purchase a "working" uniform, which consists of a
Blue chambray shirt to be worn with jeans & sneakers. These may
be ordered at
